Job summary

Starlight Welding pty ltd in Middle Dural NSW is seeking a skilled Welder Labourer to join our team. This full-time role supports welding operations across workshop and site work, including handrails, balustrades and structural components.

You will weld steel, stainless steel and aluminium using TIG, MIG and Arc methods, prepare pieces, and maintain equipment with safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 6+ months welding experience required.
• Ability to TIG, MIG and Arc weld with accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Job description

Starlight Welding pty ltd is seeking a skilled Welder labourer to join our team in Middle Dural NSW 2158. This is a full-time position, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our welding operations and contributing to the overall success of the company.

As well as working in the workshop, we also do site welding and installation work.

Handrails, balustrade, structural and many other custom works.

What you'll be doing

Perform welding tasks on steel, stainless steel and aluminium components using tig, mig and stick Welding.

Assist with the preparation of work pieces, including cutting, grinding, and fitting

Operate and maintain welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Collaborate with the team to ensure all welding projects are completed to the highest standards

Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and quality control measures

Provide support to senior welders and contribute to the overall productivity of the workshop

What we're looking for

Strong experience as a welder, with the ability to demonstrate proficiency in a variety of welding techniques

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in TIG, MIG, and Arc welding techniques

Minimum of 6 months welding experience required

For the right candidate, we will consider training a beginner to intermediate welder.

Good understanding of welding safety practices and the ability to work in a safe and responsible manner

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment

Welding tickets preferred; trade certificate advantageous but not essential

Must have a White card and own transport
