Job summary

Workhorse Staffing seeks a reliable Welder for a busy manufacturing workshop specialising in light to medium welding and quality steel storage products. You will weld to specs, read basic drawings, and maintain a tidy, safe work area in a supportive team.

The role offers day shifts with early finish on Fridays and a three-month full-time casual contract with potential to go permanent. Bonus incentives are available and a stable workshop environment is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous welding or fabrication experience.
• Ability to read basic workshop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable with a positive work ethic.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• MIG welding of light to medium steel
• Reading and interpreting basic drawings
• Operating hand and power tools safely
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Assisting with general workshop duties as required

• 2nd Class Welders encouraged to apply
