Job summary

ARA Manufacture is seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our Caringbah, NSW facility. You will produce high-quality welded components using MIG, TIG and stick welding, and interpret drawings to fabricate metal structures.

You will work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, maintain welding equipment, and uphold safety standards while delivering reliable craftsmanship on diverse projects for our clients.

Qualifications

• Current welding certification or extensive hands-on welding experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes
• Proven experience in fabrication and metalworking within the trades and manufacturing sector
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
• Knowledge of welding safety standards, procedures and best practices
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Physical fitness to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and semi-automatic welding operations using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques

• Operate cutting equipment including oxy-acetylene torches and angle grinders

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to specification
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety requirements
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, reporting any faults or maintenance needs
• Test welds and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on diverse fabrication and welding projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded and fabricated components using both traditional and modern welding techniques. This role is crucial to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring our clients receive superior craftsmanship and reliability.

Key responsibilities

What we’re looking for
