Qualifications

• Trade-qualified welder with at least 3 years experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with structural and mechanical steelwork
• Commitment to safety and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Examine welds and fabricate per drawings and specs
• Set up and operate welding equipment (SMAW, GMAW)
• Liaise with design team during fabrication detailing
• Weld mild and stainless steel and perform fabrication as required
• Prepare workpieces and inspect finished welds
• Follow welding procedures and safety rules
• Work independently or in a team to meet production targets
