Job summary

TRS Resourcing is seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Pipe Welder / Fabricator to join our client in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This role focuses on TIG and Pulse MIG welding of stainless-steel pipe, fabrication of pipework and components, and reading drawings and specifications.

The position is full-time with a 6 month contract, temp to perm, working 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Applicants must have a relevant trade qualification, rights to work in Australia, and be based in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG and Pulse MIG welding of stainless-steel pipe.
• Familiarity with pipe fabrication and finishing processes.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• TIG and Pulse MIG welding of stainless-steel pipe.
• Fabrication and assembly of pipework and components.
• Work from drawings and specifications; cutting, fitting and preparing pipe for welding.
• Produce high-quality welds and finishes.

Afternoon Shift

TRS is currently looking for an experienced Stainless Steel Pipe Welder / Fabricator to join our client in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This is a great opportunity for an experienced welder with strong TIG and Pulse MIG welding skills, particularly someone who has worked extensively with stainless-steel pipe fabrication. This is a full-time 6 month contract temp to perm position.

Shift time is from 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm.

• TIG and Pulse MIG welding of stainless-steel pipe
• Fabrication and assembly of pipework and components
• Working from drawings and specifications
• Cutting, fitting and preparing pipe for welding
• Producing high-quality welds and finishes
