Job summary

TFG Group is seeking experienced stainless-steel pipefitters and pipe welders to support upcoming works across the data centre, wastewater, and food and beverage sectors. This role involves fitting and welding stainless-steel piping systems, with some tanks, platforms and other stainless structural components.

You will be working within a skilled and supportive team that values safety, precision, and high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a time-served tradesperson with stainless-steel experience.
• Proficient in TIG and flux-core welding for pipework.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and P&IDs.
• Skilled in fabrication tasks such as marking out, grinding, cutting and drilling.
• Commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld stainless-steel piping systems across projects.
• Work on tanks, platforms and stainless structural components.
• Collaborate in a skilled, safety-focused team.

What we’re looking for;

• Current Australian working rights required (no sponsorship)
• 5+ years of relevant experience as time-served tradesperson
• Experience with stainless-steel pipework, including sched 10/40
• Strong skills in TIG and flux core welding for Pipewelders
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&ID’s
• Competence in general fabrication tasks (marking out, grinding, cutting, drilling)
• A commitment to quality, safety and teamwork
