Thornton Engineering Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled welder for our Corio workshops in Geelong. You will interpret weld procedures, select materials, and carry out welding to tight tolerances as part of a team of boilermakers and welders.
You will bring extensive experience with GMAW, GTAW and other welding processes, along with the ability to read WPS and operate fabrication tools. A valid license and relevant licenses are encouraged.

Are you a trade qualified welder with extensive experience in GMAW (MIG), GTAW (TIG), (Flux-core) and/or SMAW (Stick)? If so, we want to hear from you! We are currently seeking skilled welders to join our team of boilermakers and welders at our workshops located in Corio. As a welder with Thornton Engineering, you will report to the workshop supervisor and be responsible for interpreting weld procedure specifications to determine the necessary consumables and variables for the welding process, while maintaining our high-quality standards. I will also be responsible for operating and maintaining measuring tools, power tools, hand tools, and welding machines required to produce the fabricated parts.
