Job summary

Jump Trading Group is seeking a Systems Engineer for a weekend warrior schedule to support our global HPC infrastructure. The role involves working a modified 4- or 5-day week with weekend shifts, troubleshooting complex infra, and developing diagnostic tools.

You will collaborate across global offices, contribute to automation, and ensure reliable uptime of our trading infrastructure with flexible on-call support.

Qualifications

• Proven Linux expertise and ability to work across complex stacks.
• Willingness to learn networking concepts and broaden knowledge.
• Proficiency in Go or Python scripting and a willingness to learn both.

Responsibilities

• Work on global projects across a wide range of infrastructure.
• Manage and resolve technical issues with a high degree of technical complexity.
• Develop tools for diagnosing and triaging difficult problems.
• Contribute to cross-team engineering projects to avoid silos.
• Support weekend rotation with flexible hours in your time zone.
