Job summary

Acacia Pharmacy is seeking a Weekend Pharmacist to join our aged care team in Queensland. You will work Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am with flexible 8-10 hour shifts to support resident medications and on-call services.

Join a supportive team with modern systems, dedicated technician support and on-site parking. AHPRA registration and experience in aged care or related settings are valued as you help deliver safe, timely medication for residents.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
• Experience in community, hospital or aged care pharmacy.
• Strong dispensing and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with aged care on-call services and urgent requests.
• Prepare and set up aged care medication orders for Monday.
• Accurately dispense and check prescriptions.
• Liaise with nurses, doctors and aged care teams.
• Maintain accurate records and handovers.
• Work with Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians.
• Follow professional, legislative and pharmacy requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in aged care services.
