Job summary

St George Motor Boat Club Marina in Sydney is seeking a reliable, hands-on and customer-focused Summer Casual Marina Attendant for the busy summer period. This is primarily a weekend role with Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts, averaging 16–32 hours per week and the potential for additional hours and ongoing work for the right person.

The Marina Attendant will assist members with vessels, refuelling and marina requirements while ensuring the marina is maintained to a safe and professional

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused.
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on outdoor work.
• Friendly and confident dealing with members and guests.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
• Available throughout the summer period.

Responsibilities

• Assisting members with vessels, refuelling and general marina needs
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Assisting with vessel movements and marina operations
• Maintaining clean, safe and tidy marina facilities
• Assisting with general maintenance and hands-on tasks
• Following all marina safety procedures
• Supporting the Marina Management team with day-to-day operations
