Job summary

Mount Macedon Winery is seeking an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support front-of-house leadership across our hospitality operations. This hands-on role involves leading service, coaching staff, rostering, and maintaining high guest experience levels across multiple venues including Cellar Door and UUMM Restaurant.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure smooth service, and collaborate with kitchen leadership to coordinate events and weddings.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in hospitality leadership.
• Experience across restaurants, bars, events or multi-outlet venues.
• Strong floor leadership and guest service focus.
• Excellent communication and team development skills.
• Passion for hospitality and wine.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations across venues.
• Lead service on the floor with a welcoming, professional approach.
• Coach and develop team members; rostering and shift planning.
• Coordinate service with kitchen leadership to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support weddings, functions and group bookings and ensure guest requirements are met.
