Job summary
Infinite Aged Care in Christies Beach is seeking a Weekend Clinical Care Coordinator & Nurse Mentor. You will lead resident-centred clinical care and mentor RNs, ENs and PCWs across a Saturday–Sunday 07:00–15:00 schedule.
The role requires unrestricted RN Div 1 registration with AHPRA, with at least 1 year in a care-coordinator or leadership position. Postgraduate aged care qualifications are a bonus, and you will ensure compliant, high-quality care in a supportive team.
Qualifications
- Must hold unrestricted RN Div 1 registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum 1 year in Care Coordinator or related leadership role.
- Availability for Saturday and Sunday 07:00–15:00.
- Postgraduate aged care qualifications are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for resident-centred care.
- Develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Mentor RNS, ENs, and PCWs to strengthen clinical capability.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care with GPs, hospitals and families.
- Oversee documentation, audits and risk management.
- Lead handovers, huddles and team meetings.
- Manage complex resident care needs and referrals.
- Support onboarding and staff development.
- Drive quality improvement and compliance.
- Ensure safe operations and escalation of health changes.
- Coordinate daily workflow and resource allocation.
