Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Patisserie or relevant industry experience highly regarded
• Experience within a bakery, patisserie or food manufacturing environment required
• Understanding of commercial bakery and food manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety procedures
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently within a team environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce cakes, pastries, desserts to company specifications and quality standards
• Operate commercial bakery and food manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Assist with production processes including depositing, forming, cutting and packaging operations
• Maintain consistency, presentation, portion control and product quality standards
• Follow HACCP, GMP, food safety and workplace health and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work environment
• Assist with stock rotation, ingredient handling and minimising wastage
• Work collaboratively with the production and administration teams to meet daily production schedules
• Contribute to continuous improvement, production efficiencies and positive team culture
