Minor Hotels ANZ is seeking a Business Development Manager – Weddings & Social Events for Avani Cypress Lakes Resort in the Hunter Valley. Lead the growth of weddings and social events with hands-on event delivery, converting relationships into premium on-site experiences.

You’ll own sales strategy from pursuit to execution, building client relationships and representing the resort at industry events to position it as the Hunter Valley’s premier destination for celebrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in wedding or event sales and management.
• Proven success in achieving sales targets.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings for events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in weddings and social events.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
• Represent the resort at bridal expos and industry events.
• Oversee the planning and delivery of high-end weddings and social functions.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure exceptional event experiences.
• Identify opportunities for growth.
