Minor Hotels in Australia is seeking a passionate Business Development Manager – Weddings & Social Events to lead the growth of our events business at Avani Cypress Lakes Resort. Take ownership of weddings and social events from sales strategy through to on-site delivery and premium guest experiences.

You’ll build strong client relationships, represent the resort at bridal expos, coordinate high-end functions, and collaborate across departments to ensure flawless events, with weekend and evening

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in wedding or event sales and management.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Proven success in achieving sales targets.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings for events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in weddings and social events
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients and partners
• Represent the resort at bridal expos and industry events
• Oversee the planning and delivery of high‑end weddings and social functions
