Factory51 is an independent wedding and events venue in Coorparoo, voted Brisbane’s Most Unique Wedding Venue in both 2025 and 2026.

We bring together industrial character, handmade Italian food and warm, personal service. We’re big enough to host an unforgettable celebration, yet small enough to get to know every couple and give their wedding the attention it deserves.

The role

You’ll turn enquiries into bookings, guide clients through the planning process and bring the details together for memorable weddings and functions.

Combining sales, planning and team coordination, this role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, takes initiative and follows things through. You’ll manage your own workload and work closely with our kitchen and service teams to ensure every event is well organised.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to enquiries, hosting venue tours and converting interest into confirmed bookings.

• Guiding couples and function clients through planning, including timelines, suppliers, styling details and run sheets.

• Preparing quotes and contracts, managing invoices and tracking deposits and payments.

• Building event rosters, briefing casual staff and coordinating clear handovers to the service team.

• Maintaining strong supplier relationships and encouraging client reviews and referrals.

• Identifying opportunities to grow bookings and improve the client experience.

About you

You’re organised, personable and confident in sales. You enjoy securing a booking just as much as getting the details right, and you know how to make clients feel supported throughout the process.

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience in wedding or event sales and coordination, ideally within a venue.

• A warm, professional communication style and confidence guiding clients towards booking.

• The ability to work independently, prioritise competing deadlines and take ownership.

• Strong attention to detail across event planning, payments and administration.

• Experience rostering, briefing and leading casual staff.

• Confidence using booking or CRM software, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
