Job summary

JBWere offers a structured Wealth Associate role within a respected wealth management team. You will learn foundations of wealth management while supporting client reviews, portfolio administration and investment-related activities. The role emphasizes building relationships with clients and colleagues and gaining firsthand exposure to markets and financial advice.

You’ll be mentored and coached by experienced advisers, developing industry knowledge and a long-term career in wealth management.

Qualifications

• A recently completed or soon-to-be completed degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Financial Planning or a related discipline.
• Genuine interest in wealth management, investments and financial markets with a view to a long-term career.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and deliver client experiences.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Proactive mindset, willingness to learn and take ownership of development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Learn the foundations of wealth management by working with experienced advisers.
• Support client reviews, portfolio administration and investment-related activities.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues through proactive communication and service.
• Gain exposure to investment markets, portfolio construction and financial advice processes.
• Accelerate development through hands-on coaching, mentorship and exposure to wealth management professionals.
