JBWere in Canberra is seeking a Wealth Associate to learn wealth management foundations and support client reviews, portfolio administration and investment-related activities. As a Wealth Associate, you'll join a team of experienced Wealth Advisers and gain firsthand exposure to wealth management, investments and financial advice. Supporting successful individuals, families, executives and for-purpose organisations, you'll develop valuable industry knowledge while building the foundations for a long-term career in wealth management.

You’ll build your career by:

• Learning the foundations of wealth management while working alongside experienced advisers.
• Supporting client reviews, portfolio administration and investment-related activities.
• Building meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Gaining firsthand exposure to investment markets, portfolio construction and financial advice processes.
• Accelerating your development through hands-on coaching, mentorship and exposure to experienced wealth management professionals.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• A recently completed or soon-to-be completed degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Financial Planning or a related discipline.
• A genuine interest in wealth management, investments and financial markets, with a desire to build a long-term career in the industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and deliver great client experiences.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• A proactive mindset, willingness to learn and the initiative to take ownership of your development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
