Job summary

JV Recruitment in Sydney partners with a premier waterproofing contractor to appoint a Liquid Membrane Supervisor. This high-visibility role oversees on-site execution across luxury new builds and remedial projects, ensuring premium finishes and strict QA.

The successful trade-qualified candidate will lead teams, manage substrate prep and penetrations, and liaise with builders and site managers. A NSW White Card and NSW Driver’s Licence are required.

About the Role:

This is a high-visibility, career-defining opportunity for a trade-qualified Waterproofer looking to step up into a dedicated Liquid Membrane Supervisor role.

Working across luxury new builds and high-spec remedial homes, you will lead on-site execution, drive quality assurance, and manage application teams to ensure every detail meets exact structural and aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-Site Supervision: Lead day-to-day waterproofing operations across luxury new builds ($100M+ schemes) and residential remedial sites.
• Liquid Membrane Execution: Supervise and execute high-performance liquid membrane applications, substrate prep, detail work, and penetrations.
• Quality Control & QA Sign-Offs: Implement strict step-by-step QA inspections to guarantee leak-free, high-end finishes and compliance with Australian Standards (AS 3740 / AS 4654).
• Trade Management: Coordinate, mentor, and direct site teams and subcontractors to maintain productivity and trade quality.
• Client & PM Liaison: Partner closely with builders, site managers, and project leaders to manage site logistics and application sign-offs.

What We Are Looking For:

• Trade Qualified: Cert III in Construction Waterproofing is essential.
• Liquid Membrane Expertise: Deep technical knowledge and hands-on skill in liquid waterproofing applications, membrane selection, joint detailing, and substrate preparation.
• Versatile Project Scope: Proven exposure across both New Build construction and Remedial residential works.
• Eye for Precision: A meticulous approach to high-end finishes, suitable for multi-million-dollar luxury residential environments.
• Leadership Drive: Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the drive to build a long-term career in site leadership.
• Tickets & Credentials: Valid NSW White Card and a Full NSW Driver’s Licence.
