Job summary

The Superseal Group is seeking an experienced Waterproofer/Coating Applicator to support commercial and residential waterproofing projects in Brisbane. You will apply sheet membrane waterproofing systems and protective coatings, prepare surfaces, and follow strict safety and quality standards on site.

With 3+ years of field experience and a solid knowledge of materials and techniques, you will read technical drawings and work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Waterproofer, Sheet Membrane or Protective Coating Applicator.
• Proven knowledge of building materials, construction techniques and industry best practices.
• Certification in relevant waterproofing and/or protective coating application techniques.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transportation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Applying sheet membrane waterproofing systems to a range of commercial and residential projects.
• Applying protective coatings to concrete and other building materials to prevent wear and deterioration.
• Preparing surfaces for waterproofing and coating applications to ensure proper adhesion and long-lasting performance.
• Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborating with project managers and other tradespeople to coordinate workflows and meet project deadlines.
• Maintaining detailed records of materials used and work completed.
• Providing on-site training and mentoring to less experienced team members.
