Qualifications

• Proven waterproofing estimating and BDM experience required.
• In-depth knowledge of liquid-applied and sheet membranes, joint sealants and concrete repairs.
• Familiarity with AS 4654 and AS 3740 Australian Standards.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to committees and owners.

Waterproofing Estimator and Sales Person

Are you a results-driven waterproofing professional with a deep technical understanding of structural moisture control, membrane systems, and remediation? Do you excel at building lasting relationships across body corporate and commercial networks?

We are an established, family-run remedial and specialist services business operating across South East Queensland, and we are seeking a proven Waterproofing Estimator & Business Development Manager to drive our growth across the region—without losing the tight-knit, quality-focused culture that defines who we are.

About the Role

This is a high-impact position designed for an industry expert. You will play a dual role—acting as both the technical specialist and the trusted face of our business. You will partner with body corporate managers, strata committees, engineers, and building owners to deliver reliable, long-term waterproofing and remedial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development & Relationship Management: Identify new opportunities, cultivate relationships with strata managers, engineers, and property stakeholders across SEQ, and expand our pipeline.

• Technical Estimating & Scope Definition: Conduct detailed site inspections, diagnose water ingress issues, evaluate membrane condition, and prepare comprehensive, accurate, and competitive waterproofing quotes.

• Project Handover & Strategy: Collaborate closely with project managers and operations teams to ensure seamless handovers, scope clarity, and complete client satisfaction.

• Digital Quoting & Tracking: Utilize industry software, estimation tools, and CRM platforms to maintain clear records and track pipeline progress.

What You’ll Bring (Critical Experience Required)

• Proven Experience in Waterproofing Estimating & BDM: Hands‑on experience in waterproofing, remedial repairs, or structural moisture control is essential.

• Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of liquid-applied membranes, sheet membranes, joint sealants, concrete repairs, injection systems, and relevant Australian Standards (AS 4654 / AS 3740).

• Strong Network & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of presenting technical scopes clearly to non-technical stakeholders (committees, owners, and asset managers).

• Tech‑Savvy & Analytical: Confident using digital estimation tools, spreadsheets, and CRM systems.
