Job summary

Isaac Regional Council is offering a 2-year fixed-term traineeship for a Trainee Water and Wastewater Operator in Moranbah. Earn while you learn and complete a Certificate III in Water Industry Operations, gaining hands-on experience in plant operation and maintenance.

You will work with experienced operators, assist with daily plant operations, monitor equipment, collect samples and document results, while completing your formal training.

Qualifications

• Completed Year 10 or higher.
• A Construction White Card is required or desirable.
• Strong teamwork and a willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily operation of water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Learn how to monitor equipment, identify faults and support maintenance activities.
