Zusammenfassung

Barcaldine Regional Council seeks a motivated Water Treatment Plant Operator to safely operate, monitor and maintain Council’s water treatment facilities. You will conduct routine testing, dosing and plant maintenance while ensuring water quality meets standards.

Ideal candidates hold a current C-class driver licence, a White/Blue Card, and a Certificate III in Water Operations or willingness to obtain. Regional duties and on‑the‑job training are available as part of the role.

Qualifikationen

• Current Queensland class C driver’s licence.
• White/Blue Construction Induction Card (White/Blue Card).
• Certificate III Water Operations or willingness to obtain.
• Willing to undertake on‑the‑job training.
• Interest in plumbing/water testing.
• Demonstrated experience in civil construction and/or maintenance.

Aufgaben

• Operate and monitor Barcaldine Regional Council water treatment plants safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections, water quality testing, chemical dosing, and plant maintenance.
• Monitor treatment processes, respond to operational issues, and ensure water quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and report on plant performance and incidents.
