Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and targets with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to diagnose process issues and apply optimisation measures.
• Experience with computer systems; SCADA knowledge is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional water treatment plants safely and efficiently to meet drinking water quality guidelines.
• Manage day-to-day site administration, visitors and contractors.
• Perform plant maintenance and inspections (calibration of equipment).
• Monitor and optimise treatment process to meet water quality specs.
• Data entry and analysis of process variables.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to complete preventive and reactive works.
