Job summary

Sunwater is seeking an Operator Maintainer - Civil Works in Queensland to maintain pipelines, channels and related infrastructure. This role is physically active, outdoors and involves repairs, inspections and coordination with on-site contractors to ensure reliable water delivery.

You will hold civil construction qualifications or licenses, operate equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement while upholding safety and quality standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in physically demanding outdoor environments.
• Ability to obtain Certificate 3 Civil Construction.
• Confined Space & working at heights licenses (or willingness to obtain).
• C Class Drivers Licence.
• Strong problem-solving and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Undertake hands-on civil maintenance and repair activities on pipelines, channels and associated infrastructure
• Actively participating in Health & Safety interactions and site procedures
• Providing support and indirect supervision to lower-level operators
• Supervision of on-site contractors to ensure safe working methods and delivery
• Conduct required maintenance activities to Sunwater water delivery infrastructure.
