Gympie Regional Council is seeking four Team Member Water and Sewerage Level 5 positions. This role supports safe, reliable drinking water and sewage services, with responsibilities spanning operation of plant, data collection, and regulatory compliance.

Successful candidates will join a collaborative team, work rotating on-call rosters, and benefit from a competitive salary from $75,342 plus superannuation. A range of welfare and lifestyle benefits is offered.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience of >3 years in a water industry role.
• Ability to operate medium complexity plant, vehicles, and equipment safely.
• Current Queensland MR Class driver’s licence.
• White/Blue Card certification for construction site
• Experience with water meter maintenance/replacement

Responsabilidades

• Perform labouring tasks and operate plant/equipment to deliver water and sewerage works.
• Work under limited supervision to assist maintenance of water and sewerage networks.
• Collect data on flow rates and pressure in water mains.
• Contribute to environmental compliance and public safety.
• Collaborate with the team and communicate with the public.
