Goondiwindi Regional Council is seeking a permanent full‑time professional to oversee the safe, reliable delivery of water and wastewater services in the Goondiwindi region. The role involves managing water treatment plants, wastewater facilities, pumping stations and related infrastructure to support community wellbeing.

The position offers a competitive total remuneration package, with on‑call rosters and penalty rates. 38 hours per week with rostered day off in a 19‑day month.

About the Role

Total Remuneration Package

TRP Range: $88,500 – $94,500 (L5 -L8) (Dependent on skills, knowledge and qualifications)

• Plus call‑outs , paid at applicable penalty rates
• When on call, you will be rostered every second weekend and will receive 3.5 hours of paid work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
• Junior rates apply for employees under 21 years.
• Pay and conditions align with Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement and the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State 2017.

• Hours: 38 hours per week, 19‑day month (Rostered Day Off)
