Job summary

Dubbo Regional Council is seeking a Reticulation Team Member (Labourer) to join the Water and Sewer Branch in Dubbo and Wellington. This hands-on role maintains and repairs essential water and sewer assets, assists with connections, and works outdoors as part of a dynamic, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans.
• General Construction Induction card is required.
• Previous experience in water/sewer or construction industry is desirable.
• General administrative skills demonstrating literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain specialised equipment and construction plant.
• Assist with on call and emergency response after hours.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance of water and sewerage reticulation systems, including connections of water and sewerage.
• Ensure continuous operation of water and sewerage reticulation system.
• Record data on trusted performance systems (MRS/CRM) and daily operations.
