Job summary

Orion Group is seeking a Water Servicing Coordinator to lead planning, delivery, and close-out of water and wastewater infrastructure across NSW. You will coordinate internal teams, contractors, and consultants, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery and strong client relations with authorities and stakeholders.

You will mentor junior staff, support business development, prepare progress reports, and uphold IMS and company values in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering is required.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and project budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, delivery, and close-out of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate project resources, including internal teams, contractors, and specialist consultants.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasting, invoicing, and variation management.
• Liaise with Sydney Water, utility authorities, local councils, and regulatory agencies to obtain approvals.
• Undertake Water Servicing Coordinator duties, including site supervision, inspections, and attendance at project meetings.
• Prepare and review technical reports, engineering designs, tender documentation, and project deliverables.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, fostering strong and lasting relationships.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development support to junior team members.
• Prepare project progress reports and maintain project programs and budget updates.
• Support business development activities, proposals, and client engagement opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, systems development, and best-practice project delivery.
• Promote and adhere to Orion Consulting's Integrated Management System (IMS) and company values.
