Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Water Resources Engineer for an on-site role focused on sustainable water management, flood control, and water supply systems. You will manage all stages of project development, from concept to construction supervision, collaborating with a team of experienced professionals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in water resources engineering, strong hydrology/hydraulics expertise, and proficiency with HEC-RAS and EPANET.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Hydrology.
5+ years of experience in water resources engineering and project management.
Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modelling software (HEC-RAS, EPANET).
PrEng designation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and analyze water resources infrastructure, including dams, pipelines, canals, and stormwater systems.
Conduct hydrological and hydraulic studies to assess water availability, flood risks, and water quality.
Prepare detailed design reports, drawings, and specifications for water infrastructure projects.
Oversee construction activities for water resources projects, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and execution.
Utilize specialized software for hydrological and hydraulic modelling.
