The ideal candidate has 5+ years in water resources engineering, strong hydrology/hydraulics expertise, and proficiency with HEC-RAS and EPANET.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Hydrology.
• 5+ years of experience in water resources engineering and project management.
• Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modelling software (HEC-RAS, EPANET).
• PrEng designation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and analyze water resources infrastructure, including dams, pipelines, canals, and stormwater systems.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic studies to assess water availability, flood risks, and water quality.
• Prepare detailed design reports, drawings, and specifications for water infrastructure projects.
• Oversee construction activities for water resources projects, ensuring compliance with design and quality standards.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and execution.

You will be involved in all stages of project development, from conceptual design and feasibility studies to detailed design and construction supervision within the Eastern Cape province . The ideal candidate is passionate about environmental stewardship and possesses strong technical expertise in hydrology and hydraulics.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and analyze water resources infrastructure, including dams, pipelines, canals, and stormwater systems.
• Conduct hydrological and hydraulic studies to assess water availability, flood risks, and water quality.
• Prepare detailed design reports, drawings, and specifications for water infrastructure projects.
