Job summary

WSP Brisbane is seeking an Associate Water Resources Engineer to lead flood resilience, hydrology and hydraulic design for major transport projects. This senior, client-facing role will deliver climate-resilient solutions, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contribute to proposals.

You will have 10+ years in consulting, CPEng/RPEQ eligibility, and expertise in ARR 2019 and modelling tools such as RORB, XP-RAFTS, TUFLOW, QGIS, with 12d or MUSIC desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in consulting with flood assessments and infrastructure delivery.
• CPEng and RPEQ, or eligible for these credentials.
• Strong knowledge of ARR 2019 and hydrologic modelling tools like RORB, XP-RAFTS, WBNM, AWBM, TUFLOW, QGIS.

Responsibilities

• Lead flood resilience, hydrology, hydraulic modelling for major projects.
• Ensure technical quality against scope, budget and schedule.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineers.
• Prepare reports and contribute to proposals and work-winning activities.
