Job summary

Evolve Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a major water infrastructure project based in Bundamba, Queensland. The role focuses on accurate laboratory testing, sampling and data management to help maintain water quality standards.

The initial 3–4 month casual contract offers four days per week with a view to transitioning to full-time for the right candidate, working with operations and engineering teams to monitor plant performance and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Chemistry, Laboratory Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Experience with laboratory testing, sample collection, and analytical techniques.
• Knowledge of quality systems and laboratory best practices.
• Experience within water, wastewater, environmental, or industrial laboratory environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Conduct water and wastewater sampling at various locations.
• Perform laboratory testing and data management.
• Support quality assurance activities and data reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to monitor plant performance and identify issues.
