YOUR ROLE

Join our team as a Water Networks Operator, contributing to the maintenance and construction of essential water and sewer infrastructure. In this hands‑on role, you’ll carry out installation and repairs on water and sewer infrastructure, operate plant and equipment, and complete various labourer tasks.

YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)
  • A weekly salary between $1,237 – $1,393 dependent upon skills and experience, plus 12% superannuation
  • Work a 9-day fortnight, based on a 38-hour working week
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements under Council’s Flex First Procedure including access to an individualised hours agreement
  • Access to 2 weeks sick leave per year, cumulative where unused
  • Access to 1-week MyLeave per year, to be utilised for any purpose
  • Access to long service leave after 5 years of employment
