Job summary

WSP is seeking an Asset Management Engineer to join the Asset Management and Planning (AMP) team on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. You will contribute to strategic asset management for water networks, pumping stations, and related infrastructure, supporting resilience and sustainability across Australia.

You will analyze asset health, develop renewal strategies, and collaborate with utilities and clients while advancing reporting and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (eg, Engineers Australia membership).
• Understanding of asset management principles and frameworks (ISO 55000) advantageous.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic and tactical asset management plans.
• Analyze asset condition and performance to inform decisions.
• Conduct field investigations and site visits with safety compliance.
• Develop long-term investment profiles and renewal strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments and establish risk management frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on integrated solutions.
• Advise on asset management systems and process improvements.
• Prepare clear reports, plans, and presentations.
