Gladstone Regional Council is seeking a permanent full-time Team Leader Water Mechanical to supervise the delivery and completion of mechanical works across Council assets in the Gladstone region.

You will bring a mechanical trade qualification, proven leadership, and extensive knowledge of WHS requirements, with the ability to coordinate maintenance across multiple sites and lead a trades team, including apprentices, while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising work crews and developing a high-performance culture.
• Knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulation 2011.

Responsabilités

• Supervise delivery and completion of mechanical works across Council assets.
• Oversee preventive, corrective and reactive maintenance and unplanned restorations.
• Lead a trades team and support development of local apprentices.
• Provide back-up as Site Safety Manager under Petroleum and Gas Act 2004.
• Demonstrate strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Be available to work outside normal hours and travel as required.
