Job summary

South Gippsland Region Water Corporation in Leongatha is seeking a Watermain Renewal Technician for ongoing, full-time work. The role requires practical construction experience, strong safety discipline, and the ability to read plans while operating relevant plant/equipment.

You will contribute to renewal programs across water networks and ensure high quality outcomes in a collaborative, field-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in watermain, pipeline or civil construction or related hands-on trades.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety and hazard identification.
• Ability to read plans and work instructions and use construction tools safely.
• Demonstrated teamwork, clear communication and reliable collaboration.
• Attention to Quality and adherence to procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Join SGW on watermain renewal projects and associated works.
• Read plans, interpret drawings, and use construction equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure quality of completed works.
