Job summary

WaterNSW is seeking an experienced Licensing Officer (Full-Time, max term until January 2028) to join the Licensing Operations team. The role involves handling licensing enquiries, assessing applications, and maintaining records with a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer service in high-volume environments.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and resolve concerns.
• Foundational knowledge of regulatory frameworks and how to apply them.

Responsibilities

• Provide streamlined contact point for customers and process applications.
• Manage workflow and validation of licensing applications per A&A procedures.
• Assist customers in securing and managing water access licences and approvals.
• Prepare regular reports on processing and service standards.
• Collaborate with A&A team to drive change and improve performance.
• Resolve customer queries and escalate issues per procedures.
