Job summary

The Constructive Collective is seeking a capable Civil Engineer to join our Sydney team on water and civil infrastructure projects. You will oversee day-to-day site activities, coordinate with contractors and surveyors, and ensure works stay on program while meeting quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in site engineering on water, sewer or civil infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Sydney Water requirements and approval processes.
• On-site coordination with contractors, surveyors and project teams.
• Sydney Water accreditations: S1, SW1, S-RW, S-LP, S-W2, S-W3.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities for water services and civil infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, surveyors and project engineers to keep works on program.
• Monitor construction quality, safety and compliance against approved designs.
• Liaise with authorities including Sydney Water on inspections and approvals.
• Identify and resolve site issues as they arise, escalating where needed.
• Maintain accurate site records and reporting.
