Job summary

Water Corporation is looking for a site-based project professional to lead and support reactive projects across the Perth metropolitan area, ensuring delivery of water and wastewater services. This role is wholly site and office based for operational reasons.

You will manage planning, scheduling, budgeting and reporting, while building strong relationships with stakeholders and field teams to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering or trade background.
• Extensive experience managing construction and maintenance projects in a large infrastructure organisation.
• Knowledge of O&M practices and issues relating to water and wastewater services.
• Current driver’s licence for site-based work.
• High level stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of reactive projects, ensuring corporate, regulatory, and service level requirements are met.
• Plan and schedule reactive projects with attention to timelines, resources and cashflow.
• Provide regular reporting on project performance against targets.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and resourcing, identifying risks early and coordinating mitigation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, leaders, field staff and team leaders.
