Job summary

Lead Group is seeking an experienced project co-ordinator to plan and oversee pigging campaigns on water and wastewater networks in Victoria. You will coordinate field crews, plant/equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental compliance across multiple sites.

You will liaise with water authorities, manage procurement, and maintain documentation while tracking costs and progress. Frequent travel to client sites beyond Victoria will be required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate ice pigging and conventional pigging campaigns across client water/wastewater networks, including scheduling, resourcing and site logistics
• Liaise directly with water authority/utility clients to confirm scope, access, shutdowns and program timing
• Coordinate field crews, plant/equipment (including ice-making units) and subcontractors during mobilisation and execution
• Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks; ensure works comply with safety, environmental and quality requirements
• Manage procurement and supplier coordination for consumables, equipment hire and subcontracted services
• Prepare and maintain project documentation - work method statements, JSAs/SWMS, ITPs, as-built records and completion/handover reports
• Track project costs, progress and variations; support client progress claims and reporting
• Resolve technical and logistical issues on site, escalating to the Operations Manager where required
• Support tender and quoting activity for future pigging/pipeline works as required
• Travel to and work extended periods away from home at client sites outside Victoria as programs require
