Job summary

GHD is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Water Digital Delivery Group in Western Australia. You will provide technical leadership on mechanical design for water utilities and related clients, delivering from concept through project execution while applying Australian and international standards.

You will work with a high-performing team to develop multi-disciplinary solutions, engage with clients to define requirements, and mentor graduates, ensuring value, quality and timely project

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering recognized in Australia.
• 4+ years' experience as a mechanical engineer in water/wastewater projects.
• Experience writing specifications/datasheets for mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of mechanical engineering projects for water utilities.
• Develop high quality mechanical designs and publish coherent drawings.
• Apply engineering standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support graduate engineers and manage concurrent tasks.
