Job summary

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, is seeking a Water Cart Operator to support underground mining operations across Western Australia. You will operate the Water Truck and other equipment, carrying out start-up, operation, and shutdown, while adhering to safety and mine plans.

The role offers FIFO and DIDO options, opportunities for career progression, and access to training and development within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Water Cart Operator in underground mining.
• Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed mine plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Water Truck and other equipment in a safe manner.
• Machine start-up, operation, and shutdown knowledge.
• Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
• Fill truck tank with water and spray water in designated areas.
• Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness.

Whatwillyour day to day look like?
