Job summary

Monash City Council in Melbourne's eastern suburbs invites applications for a hands-on Waste Services Operator. In this role you will rotate between operating a front-end loader, forklift and material handler, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the yard.

You'll work as part of a team within Sustainable Monash, with opportunities for industry training, overtime, and allowances. A medium-rigid or heavier licence is preferred, and pre-employment checks apply.

You'll be part of a broader team that also includes Waste Customer Experience and Asset Cleansing. About the Position In this hands-on role, you'll rotate between operating a front-end loader, forklift and material handler, delivering excellent customer service and keeping the yard clean and tidy.

You'll take pride in your work and the presentation of the centre, with duties that may also include collecting dumped rubbish and operating a hook truck.
