Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a Waste Plant Operator to operate and maintain our Waste Management Facilities across the region. Your daily tasks include running machinery for waste placement, compaction and transport, ensuring safe, efficient operations and supporting a team committed to best practice waste management.

This permanent full-time role offers a weekly gross pay of about $1,540.67, an RDO each month and extra allowances.

Qualifications

• HR Licence (and willingness to upgrade to HC)
• White Card and Chain of Responsibility Level 1
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Experience operating landfill equipment (e.g., compactor, dozer, loader, excavator)
