BCI Minerals Limited is seeking a Wash Plant Operator to safely operate and optimise our wash plant within the Mardie operation. You will monitor SCADA/DCS, adjust process parameters, and ensure product quality while coordinating with Production and Maintenance teams.

You will conduct routine inspections, record operational data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reliability across the site.

Formación

• Experience operating a wash plant or similar mineral processing facility.
• Experience monitoring and interrogating HMI control system.
• Construction Induction Card.
• First aid and CPR qualification.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & SharePoint).

Responsabilidades

We are rapidly progressing the Mardie Salt Operation and Potash Project (Mardie Operation), a tier 1 solar evaporation project that will supply high-purity industrial salt and sulphate of potash (SOP) for more than 60 years.

The Role

As the Wash Plant Operator, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of the wash plant, monitoring and controlling plant performance through control systems such as SCADA/DCS. You will adjust plant parameters to optimise production rates, maintain product quality and respond proactively to changing operating conditions.

Working closely with the Production and Maintenance teams, you will conduct routine inspections, identify equipment issues and inefficiencies, and coordinate troubleshooting and repair activities. You will also monitor and record key operational data, including flow rates, temperatures and product moisture levels, ensuring accurate reporting of plant performance and any operational incidents to the Production Supervisor.

You will support the coordination of raw salt feed and product dispatch activities, while contributing to effective shift handovers and ensuring clear communication of plant status across the operation. Importantly, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping identify opportunities to improve plant productivity, reliability and overall operational performance.

About You:

The successful candidate will hold:

• Previous experience operating a wash plant or similar mineral processing facility.
• Previous experience monitoring and interrogating HMI control system.
• Construction Induction Card.
• First aid and CPR qualification.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & SharePoint).

The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance that is not older than 6 months and must hold a WA White Card.

You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
