Job summary

CSI Mining Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mineral Resources Limited, is seeking experienced Control Room Operators with crushing and wet plant experience to join our Mining Services Team for lithium operations. These are full-time, permanent FIFO roles from Perth on an 8:6/7:7 roster.

Qualifications

• Control room operation experience.
• Solid knowledge of process control fundamentals.
• Experience in mineral processing operations (grinding, settling, filtration).
• C Class manual driver’s licence (HR desirable).
• High Risk Work Licences (DG, RB, CN, WP, LF desirable).
• Construction Induction Card and safety tickets desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor crushing, screening and wet/dry plant parameters.
• Track feed rates, water flow and equipment variables to optimize throughput.
• Monitor plant indicators to identify trends.
• Operate and monitor crushing and screening equipment in wet and dry environments.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance checks and assist trades.

We are seeking experienced Control Room Operators with crushing and wet plant experience, to join our Mining Services Team for our Lithium Operations. These are full-time, permanent FIFO roles from Perth on a 8:6/7:7 (Days/ Nights) roster, designed to grow your skill set through on-site training, with pathways into leadership for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor the crushing, screening, and wet/dry processing plant parameters
• Track and control feed rates, water flow, and equipment variables to optimize throughput and meet production targets
• Monitor plant equipment indicators to identify developing trends
• Operate and monitor crushing & screening equipment within wet and dry plant environments
• Perform basic preventative maintenance checks and assist trades where required
• Control feed rates and manage plant performance to meet production targets
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational procedures
• Work effectively both independently and within a team structure
• Contribute to continuous improvement in safety and productivity
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety

What Is Required

• Control Room experience and operating fixed plant crushing & wet plant equipment and/or mobile plant
• Detailed knowledge of process control fundamentals and philosophy
• Sound understanding and previous experience in mineral processing operations, including grinding, magnetic separation, thickening, filtration, tailings disposal and management
• C Class Manual Driver’s Licence (HR desirable)
• High Risk Work Licence (DG, RB, CN, WP, LF – desirable)
• Construction Induction Card
• Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing tickets (desirable)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
