Job summary

Murrell Freight Services, a Wollongong-based family business, is seeking a hands-on Wash Bay Operator for the Unanderra yard. The role focuses on washing and cleaning our fleet of trucks and trailers, with adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.

The position is full-time, dayshift, Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm, with occasional overtime and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

Murrell’s is seeking to expand and engage hands-on operators to assist in the Wash Bay on a Full-Time, dayshift basis. The role is based at our Unanderra yard, with a key focus on maintaining and ensuring efficient operations within our wash bay facility, adhering to high presentation standards.

What the Role Entails:

The role focuses on washing and cleaning our fleet of truck and trailers but may also include plant equipment and machinery.

Ensuring directions are followed on all cleaning procedures of machinery.

Maintenance of the site, ensuring all staff are following housekeeping directions.

Ability to follow procedures and company policy, with a core focus on safety.

Daily handover to the afternoon shift.

Further career development and upskilling available for hard working and committed personnel.

Hours:

This is a full-time dayshift position, Monday - Friday from 6:30am - 2:30pm, with the ability to be flexible and cater to the needs of the business as required. Occasional Overtime may be available.
