Job summary

Murrell Freight Services, a Wollongong-based family business, is seeking a hands-on Wash Bay Operator for the Unanderra yard. The role focuses on washing and cleaning our fleet of trucks and trailers, with adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.

The position is full-time, dayshift, Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm, with occasional overtime and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and capable of working in a fast pace environment.
• High attention to detail and ability to work towards deadlines.
• Reliability and punctuality are a must.
• Experience in a similar sort of role or industry is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean fleet of trucks and trailers (may include plant equipment).
• Maintain site housekeeping and ensure safety and procedures are followed.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and company policies; ensure safety focus.
• Daily handover to the afternoon shift.
• Opportunities for career development and upskilling for hardworking staff.
