Job summary

KTrans is a dynamic, family-owned transport and logistics company with a strong WA heritage, expanding its frontline leadership. We seek a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a fast-paced team, ensure safe cargo handling and maintain client satisfaction across operations.

You will drive performance, coach staff and optimise daily workflows in a busy warehouse environment. Role requires forklift operation proficiency, adherence to CoR/HSE and a collaborative approach with drivers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse teams in a fast-paced transport environment.
• Strong relationship-building with clients, drivers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety, CoR and HSE requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team from the front.
• Prioritise resources to meet daily operational requirements and coach staff.
• Organise team meetings and communicate updates to address challenges.
• Oversee safe receival, storage, handling and dispatch of freight; monitor metrics.

As we continue our exciting growth journey, we have rare opportunity to join the Logistics Team in a leadership role and are looking for a skilled Warehouse Supervisor who is ready to lead from the front.

Key skills and attributes:

1. Team Leadership:

• Inspire, lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team in a fast-paced transport environment.
• Effectively manage priorities and resources to meet daily operational requirements.
• Provide clear direction, coaching and performance support to achieve operational goals
• Organise team meetings to communicate updates and address challenges.

2. Customer Interaction:

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, drivers, operational teams and stakeholders.
• Proactively resolve service issues and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
• Communicate clearly and professionally to ensure expectations and service commitments are met.

3. Cargo Handling & Management:

• Oversee the safe, accurate and efficient receival, storage, handling and dispatch of freight.
• Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
• Drive operational accuracy and minimise freight discrepancies, damages and delays.

4. Machinery & Equipment Operation:

• Proficiency in forklift operations and load restraint processes.
• Ensure equipment is operated, maintained and inspected in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and operational readiness across warehouse assets

5. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure full compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), HSE and legislative requirements.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and industry regulations while achieving operational outcomes.
• Participate in safety requirements and KPI's
